Last Minute Halloween Party Ideas

It’s finally here: Halloween Weekend. Before I shut down my blog to enjoy Halloween in Los Angeles, I wanted to do one quick post of some last-minute party ideas for those of you that procrastinated to whip up some spooky decorations for halloween celebrations this weekend.

I was scrolling through Pinterest earlier and saw the DIY Skull Ice Cube tutorial and was immediately looking up same-day shipping for edible flowers to make this awesome festive drink addition. Luckily, my obsession with skulls and skeletons runs year round and already have quite the collection of skull ice cubes in my freezer to use for this DIY.

DIY Spooky bar cart

If you have a bar cart, this one is kind of a no-brainer. The DIY post I found here has gone above and beyond, but even if you just take one of these decor ideas to throw on your bar cart it is plenty enough to deem as a spooky cocktail area.  My favorite is the use of a coffin cookie cutter to make halloween-esque snacks.

DIY Halloween Straws

I told you these were last-minute easy ideas. Even if you don’t have the time to go buy a skeleton for a bar cart or have 30 minutes between guests arriving and you making floral skull ice cubes, this is pretty damn simple and I’m confident any local drugstore will have festive Halloween straws for your pregame. If you want to go the extra step, check out this tutorial for one-upping the average environmentally friendly straw. Even better, they are printable!

Vampire Blood Bar

Everybody needs a shot now and then. Especially if you are planning on going out with two pounds of ridiculous face-paint on and some costume you will probably regret tomorrow. This post takes your halloween shots to the next level with a vampire-vibe that makes you feel like your doing it more for the sake of the holiday than for your sanity. Bottoms up!

Halloween Spiderweb Balloon

Balloons are a very wallet-friendly decoration option for majority of events and perfect for Halloween parties. This simple DIY from a fellow blogger is an excellent way to up your halloween soiree  for Wednesday and won’t take more than 5 minutes to assemble!

As always, thanks for reading and Happy Halloween! xx Brittany
