Fresh Picks // Home Office Inspiration

As some of you may know, I recently moved to Los Angeles and am thrilled to call the West Coast home! With my new home comes lots of new furniture that I did not want to lug across the country (BTW – I will be doing another post soon on travel tips for relocating soon!) and am very excited to begin collecting pieces for my home office. I’ve started accruing some inspiration for the vibe I’m going for and wanted to share for those of you that are looking to revamp your home work space – see the bottom of the post for more info on where to purchase.

I am a strong believer in indoor plants to maintain healthy air quality in your home and absolutely love all of the plants surrounding this work space! Keeping the planters simple withΒ  white and terracota flows with the overall minimalistic look of this office area.

If you are unable to have your home office in an area with a lot of natural light or windows, utilizing empty space to create a gallery wall is a creative way to jazz up an otherwise boring area of your home. See some fun examples above and below for how to style your gallery wall.

^^love all the pops of pink in this office!

Another thing to keep in mind if you are a remote employee or grinding it out as a up-and-coming blogger, is investing in a good quality office chair. You will be sitting in it several hours almost daily and is worth splurging to keep your posture and overall health in check. That in mind, I have been aggressively hunting for an aesthetically pleasing desk chair and love the look of the black and gold one below –Β  this also comes in white!!

If you tend to keep your work space immaculate (which I unfortunately never can) then this office chair from Ikea is a great way to jazz up your work space. **Note, it only comes in silver but a quick coat of gold spray paint is all it needs!

^^ this may not be the most practical desk chair but it certainly looks adorable!

I shared this one because I love the use of shelving which can be used for either storage for files, books etc or just to add more of those beautiful indoor plants I love! Thanks for reading this post and I will be sharing another soon once I have finalized my own home office here in LA.
